this isn't a manifold this guy is mass producing. He just made a ram style manifold for himself and now is selling the setup.

 

maybe they whern't the first compay with that style mani but damn sure made a one that all other companys look up to build thier own mani from

exactly; i give 6000000x more respect to someone who builds their own manifold than some pay-to-play ricer that spends more on their manifold than i will on my entire turbo setup. Even if the guy's **** fails horribly he still has the experience and know-how to build another bigger better faster one.

I'm in the process of finding a MIG welder and i'll try my hand over the xmas break at fab'ing a ram-horn mani. I've been frequenting the welding/fabrication forum more and more (there's some nifty **** in there) and i get more inspired each time I'm looking forward to fab'ing up a manifold and even if its the ugliest messiest most dremeled out piece of metal the world has ever seen i'll still use it with buckets of pride

 

maybe i am wrong but what is the problem for me liking thier manifolds...and feeling that they make a strong product

 

you go do that and then come back and tell us how it went

there isn't anything wrong with liking their manifold; it is a nice product.

But i wouldn't in a trillion years pay that much for a ******* manifold.
This guys ram-horn will probably make just as much hp; put as much heat in the engine bay; and probably make 1/10th of an hp less on a dyno.

It is wrong to think that their manifold is the end all to ram-horn manifolds and that all other non full-ripoff-race manifolds are **** and should be burned at the stake; and that since this guys welds weren't done with a $6billion robotic tig welder then they're automatically going to blow up and kill 40 inocent school children.

Man, your an ***. Alot of people don't have the time nor care to build their own manifold's.. if they have the money to purchase this type of ****, who are you to tell them otherwise? ever heard of specialization? If your a lawyer and you make $100/hr, you don't go home and change your own oil. Its just not worth your time.

Ill give props to someone who builds their own manifold, as long as its good. If its crap its crap no matter who builds it.

 

that's pretty ugly....but full-race's design isn't exactly ORIGINAL...it's been around for a while

i never said anything was wrong with liking their product. Heck i think their products are great.

its not like this guy is going out of his way to construct an exact copy of the full-race manifold and commercialy sell it. He made it for his own private use. Now he is just selling his homemade turbo setup that just so happens to include the homemade manifold.

If you dont have a built b18c1; w/ CP pistons; Full-ripoff-race turbo kit with an SC61 turbo; hondata and only run 9psi of boost then you're not cool
