Default NHRA Rollcage (Street car class) specs? Prefab?
Hey guys... I'm sure some of you run in the events in street class and are 11.99 or quicker.

Do you have any idea as to what the cage must be built like? Can it be bolt in? Does anyone make prefab'd cages that would pass safety inspections for Civics/Integras?

just look in your yellow pages and find a domestic shop...they can build you a roll bar... all you need is a 6point for 9.99 and slower

Does a 6 point entail two bars having to go through each end of the dashboard?

No race cage can be bolted in, those are the monkey bar type show cages that are bolted, welded only for race.

Paul...thats not true. If you want to run in a nhra event and go 10's...you have to have a 8 point cage.

no... thats a 10-point and u need that to 9.99 to 7.50 i believe it was

No...its a 8 point for those speeds. When I say 8 point, I mean it has to be the kind that goes over your head.
