ngk bkr7e equivalent?
my car just recently started to break up at part throttle, it started to do it only in the mornings when the motor wasnt warmed up yet but now it does it all the time, so i pulled the plugs and they dont look that bad but i brushed them off with a tooth brush a bit and put them back in and the car ran perfect for about 5-10 minutes then the breaking up started again! so i'm assuming its my plugs that are fouled out, ive been to napa, autozone, advanced auto, and carquest but nobody seems to carry any ngk bkr7e's! so im wondering what kind of plugs would be equivalent that i can run in the meantime until i can find some ngk's??

Re: ngk bkr7e equivalent?
I got two sets of BKR7Es at Advanced Auto yesterday. The new part number is 4644, and the computer said they were out. The counterman went and checked the shelf, and sure enough, they were there. And as always at Advanced, less than $2 each!
The comparable plug from Autolite is 3922 (I haven't tried them), and there is a comparable AC Delco also, but I can't remember the part number.
Hope that helps!
