Default When fuel rail is not enough...

Which cylinder fails first when OEM fuel rail is taken to its limit? Engine is B16A. What I mean, is that which cylinder goes lean first, usually it´s always the same cylinder in certain engines that fails first. Is there one in Hondas? I know that OEM fuel rail lasts for a lot of power, but the limit will be somewhere... Thanks for answers!

Stock rail is good for aproximatly 400whp. anythign else i would highly recomend a rail. You can get a fuel rail for about 75 bucks. Datum1 look it up. its a solid block of alumiinum with holes drilled into it for fuel to flow through, not really somethign that has to be flashy or expensive just get the job done. Ive used thr datum1 on 4 cars now without a single issue

How about AEM? They promise that it lasts up to 1000hp...

Ok, got it. I´m also against waste of money, my car is quite a low-budget car... You can see it in: http://irc-galleria.net/archive.php?...lbum_id=454333

Had 303hp from engine last year, now going maybe near or over 400hp in a few weeks.. (I think my stock fuel rail will last it, but just thought to ask for case)

Where can I find those Datum1 fuel rails? Ebay? I´m from Finland so I don´t know all the best places in U.S.

Plenty of people are running stock fuel rails with 600hp with out problems. As long as you are staying on pump gas and not going to E85. Your fuel rail is fine.

Ok! That´s what I believe also. Those who have crossed the line; does anyone know which cylinder goes lean first or all at the same time? Just for case, I melted my spark plug from 4th cylinder, but there were oil on the top of the piston so I believe it was that oils fault. We were just adjusting my car to Bosch 1000cc´s, so it could have happened also because of the lack of the gas. Though we didn´t hear knocking at all..

Oil on the top of the piston is there because of the failure in the oil ring in the piston. Have to tear the engine apart once again...

Cylinder 1 (closest to timing belt).I had something fuel rAIl related happen to me last Wednesday on the dyno at 325whp. But I've been told that stock fuel rails hold high power.

You mean using gasoline(110,118 etc).

Im shooting for 400whp on my engine with the stock rail with a e100 mixture.

Well where I am from you can get 100, 106, 110, 118, ect., ect., at the pump from the local Torco fuel dealer. So like I said... to me it is all pump gas (even though it is not cheap LoL). We weren't talking octane anyways.
