Next step after dyno
Just fitted my vortec fmu.
Now it hesitates badly at 6500rpm on WOT and will not rev any more.
What can i try next?
This is my setup at the moment-
B16A1 with stock internals
TO4E/T3 Turbocharger,
Revhard manifold,
Turbosmart Ultragate 35mm wastegate,
2.5" Downpipe,
Revhard Intercooler,
Vortec blow off valve,
Stock fuel pump running 40psi,
450cc DSM fuel injectors,
Afc hack,
Vortec Fmu 12:1
HKS air filter,
running on what should be 7psi

Re: Next step after dyno (NOSED_CRX_VTEC)
have an adjustable fpr? sounds like you're not getting fuel. bump it up a few lbs.
but since ur doing the afc hack, try giving more fuel at 6500.
pull the plugs and give a lookover. rich or lean?

Re: Next step after dyno (BOOSTED 4DR. GS-R)
try a 4:1 plate, 6:1 should be optimal for 370cc and 4:1 should be optimal for 450cc. I run a 4:1 plate with 370cc and add about 20% back with my emanage.

Re: Next step after dyno (NOSED_CRX_VTEC)
With my stock fuel pump when I boost the fmu only will increase the fuel pressure to 70psi is this because of the pump is stock?

Re: Next step after dyno (NOSED_CRX_VTEC)
I am not understanding the point of the fmu on top of injectors but I also think 12:1 is WAY to much.
Too much fuel pressure is not a good thing... I would stick to the 4:1 and 6:1... YES your stock pump blows so thats not helping.
