if your wastegate spring is set from 5-7psi, but you get a boost controller, can you set it higher than 7psi?

lmao i feel really dumb asking, but oh well, no sense in trying to act smarter than I am. We're all here to learn.

 

YUP you got it, it manipulates the signal to the wastegate, alowing it to stay closed longer and creat more boost.

hey rjardy, this is off topic but noticed your avatar, is that a turbo glowing bright red? what are the effects on the turbo when that happens?

 

Yeah it is a turbo,not to sure but i think it would be TOAST. something that hot has got to crack or something after cooling down, i really dont know i just thought it was neat looking!
