I've been researching FI for a while now and reading the faqs above, to be honest it's like a foreign language. I've talked to a couple of people who advised me to go with a smaller size turbo with the short gearing of the gsr tranny. But I just don't know how to differentiate between all the choices for forced induction and what would be best.
It's going on an ls block with low comp pistons(9:1)...not going to be sleeved. Head has arp's, mild p&p with new valvetrain. It's going to be my dd, just want to run moderate boost 7-8lbs and maybe 230hp. I'm trying to piece together this turbo kit with budget in mind over the next couple months, so I've been glued to the marketplace...but everytime I see good deals I don't know whether I should buy it for my set up or not. At the moment have a t3 in mind...trim size tho? .4x's or like .57? Also would a 5" intercooler be efficient for my build? They look TINY but I realize I'm not going for a lot of power...just need something to fit behind my eg bumper and do its job. Thanks for any info or direction you guys can give me.
