one more time folks... it's a Precision GT35E
ie a NON BALL BEARING turbo
to put it into perspective... think SC61, with a GT turbine wheel instead of the Stage 5 monster. the GT35E is rated @ ~600hp at the flywheel a lil less than the standard T3/SC61 which is rated ~620hp at the flywheel

I have an AFC, so my vacuum is read in mm/Hg
At idle, it's normally 450ish...after I've blown a charge pipe, it reads in the 600's.
I'd say timing is your issue.

yehhh.... timing would do it too.
take a look at your cam timing.
back when I was monkeying with my n/a nonvtec sohc,
I monkeyed with the cam timing alot. it affected idle a HUGE ammount.
just a thought.. and thats all i know so

with higher boost its totally different trust me , at lower boost with the greddy kit i felt the same way as you . but higher boost is different.</TD></TR></TABLE>
I still disagree, but am not trying to start a war in your thread. I run about 17.5psi on the street on a SC32 .63 exhaust.
Let us know how it goes....
...When you build the head what are you planning on revving to?

This is the never ending story! I'm still waiting on Hella_JDM to dyno and GITWIDIT to dyno so we can see how the SC-61 and GT35E spool with the little single cam 1.6l's, that way i know which turbo to buy for my new build...
