It's Confirmed guys, these are fake 'watercooled' units that were being sold on ebay by relentless_performance. Coincidentally that username just happened to have the exact same address as XS-power and ssautochrome. Avoid these at all costs!!

UPDATE: SN CONFIRMED ON THESE UNITS IS SN06100268

Apparently the water cooling ports on these aren't even 'real' they have the hole and thread for the fitting but no actual ports

this is getting to be as bad as HKS. i'm to the point that i won't buy any of the heavily faked names from anyone who's not an authorized seller.

that tial BOV that i ordered today, bought from ATP, didn't think twice, didn't price shop, just ordered..this is why

Seems like Ebay is the home for knock offs. Got ripped off once with a Skunk 2 manifold. No ports matched! Thanks for the warning.

 

^YA FREAKIN THINK?????? And people wonder why everyone says to stay away from ebay. Hell if your LUCKY you will get a fake knockoff. someone i know ordered an exhaust for an s14 ka motor when he got the exhaust he was missing a piece, and the other pieces didnt fit. he then tried ordering a CAI and he got some freakin headlights THAT WERENT EVEN FOR HIS CAR.

 

Fake parts suck. They cant even take the time to make it functional?... thats taking it to a whole new level of shittyness.

 

pure scariness. So many people can get caught on this one and think they are buying authentic parts.

 

makes me ponder about my 38mm gate I checked every single thing on it but it looks identical to the fake one here but no faked tial written on the fake.

theres a great pic from google with a comparison chart that would go great in here

 

Looks pretty simple to figure out if you have a legit one, if the water ports are closed off you have a fake.

cant really tell the different tho..

 

look at the triangle in the middle of the A on the casting, how the top is machined (poorly) and also the font is not correct on the engraving, the clamp nut, and the way the foam is

 

Wow scary how good the fakes are getting.

 

looks are one thing, they still have garbage internals
