BEWARE: New Fake TiAL MVS' out there
I got sold a pair of fake TiAL MVS wastegates from a member on Evolutionm.net I'm sharing the pictures of the wastegates so you guys can see, and to alert you not to buy from this person.
His user name on Evolutionm.net & on DSMtuners is Kidtsi, and he signs his name on both forums as Kevin Beeck (Laredo Texas). He lists a phone number but does not answer it. He has sold at least 4 of these gates through Evom. His FS thread stated he had 2 for sale. I bought 2 from him and posted in his thread that I had bought them. He quickly changed his original post to state he had 4 for sale. The next 2 were bought by another forum member, and yet he still bumped his thread stating he had even more. He is well aware of what he's doing and is committing fraud.
Tialsport has already been contacted and Jake N. confirmed these are fakes.
"yes that is VERY fake - dark flanges, wrong font on the casting, poor machining, rounded edge clamps and the engraving is off center!"

Hope your able to recover your money, did you pay through a paypal or something so you can dispute it?
Glad you posted about this with the pictures. Hopefully the word can get out on these quickly so others are not screwed by people selling what are most likely Chinese manufactured knock offs.

Yeah... I think I've got him by the junk.
I payed the 3% fee and sent money as a purchase of goods. Gave the website the sale was on, my username, transaction details, etc. So it's pretty cut and dry. I got the statement from TiAL this morning, so the mfgr agrees that these are in fact imitation gates.
I let the mods on Evom know... and contacted the other buyers who posted in the thread.
I think I have enough money that goes through paypal that it's in their best interest to make it right.

What is it with those Chinese ******'s, they don't half have some cheek. I wish sometime's we'd just stop buying stuff off them all together.

^good to see someone else shares my opinion. I think its quite funny when people get scammed buying off ebay. That's what ya ****n get. This on the other hand is a little different but still kinda the same. Ill spend the extra money buying from a authorized dealer or wholesaler just for piece of mind. I like to avoid the hassle and only spend money on something once.

Someone with 25 confirmed sales feedback on Evom and a longtime member on dsmtuners you wouldn't expect to be scamming people. Someone with no user history and minimal posts... yes.

They look real until you look at the details, if you only see a couple pics I would be fooled too. Hope it works out for and you get your money back.

So it looks like its exactly the same for you guys as it is for us over here... I actually hate the words 'Made in China' ,'Made in India' or 'Made in Pakistan' . It pisses me off even more when i've payed good cash for a so called "quality" item and its got one of them on the back...

Re: BEWARE: New Fake TiAL MVS' out there
Not to be a dick, but who cares. Why risk a motor to garbage like this, most importantly why bother supporting (in any way) this kind of knock off product, even just to see if it works. These chinese reproductions are inferior and an attack on Tial. They are not just copying the design but also deliberately putting out a substandard cheaply manufactured facsimile with the intension of deceiving people to think it is legimate Tial product.
