Re: New MVS Knockoffs
I've got 2 knock offs, still going strong after 12 months. If you are on a budget, worth it imo. I paid £140 for the pair. I don't condone buying fake goods, but I was skint....so?

^Not to offend, but you are one of the few.
I have seen 5 of these things come through the shop I work for. Want to know how many either completely failed on the dyno or had serious issues?
All of them.
One car was running a 14psi spring, hitting around 25psi of boost on one of these fakes. We replaced it with a real Tial, and what do you know, held 14psi. Isn't worth cheaping on these.

What exactly do you man by Drilled ?
I would love a little more knowledge about this drilled water port just incase I run into these kind of importers.

Re: New MVS Knockoffs
the real problem is lack of punishment. there is no government controlled agency that gives a f@#k about these counterfits.. lol i watched a documentary on prescription drugs being made fake.. said something like 1 in 4 pills is fake worldwide..dam shame..go through legit sources not the hole in the wall shops that only have lug nuts and air freshners

Re: New MVS Knockoffs
I believe I may have purchased one of these. the SN # is 06100330
Unfortunately I have only recently become involved with Honda/Acura and was unaware of this problem. Any recommendations on what to do about the fake? It came from Jason Coleman at Relentless purchased on ebay.

Doing some homework on relentless_performance on eBay, turns out it's Richard Lane aka SS Auto Chrome. Seems to be someone this community is familiar with.

Re: New MVS Knockoffs
Thanks to Thomas from Thomas racing Ind for bringing this thread to my attention. I gave him all the info on relentless_performance from his ebay account/paypal account(s). I purchased some items from relentless_performance on ebay (although not TiAL "knock offs") and the parts i recieved were sub-par from what was described/i expected, not only that i was also over charged on shipping charges by about $60 USD.
I'm not in a honda/teg anymore but im definitly one for bringing down people like this who try to sell counterfeit **** as the real deal and ruin the automotive communities for the rest of us.

Re: New MVS Knockoffs
Your help was definitely appreciated. Looking into this clown we are finding some very interesting details about his businesses. I am in contact with the North Carolina Attorney General's office and will update this thread.

Re: New MVS Knockoffs
damn thats scary especially if theyre selling to you for full price. guess the best way to make sure your getting the real deal is to buy from authorized dealers.

Re: New MVS Knockoffs
Tial needs to contact the FBI with all relevant data, including the names and addresses of all EBAY sellers involved.
This worked for Hondata.
