new motor issues...
B16A2
gs-r cams
9.2:1 cp's (81.5mm)
eagle rods
UR crank pulley
SRR cam gears
Everything else is stock.
Oil leaks.
I seem to have located 2-3 on the distributer side of the head. I plan on replacing the distr. o-ring, vtec solenoid gasket, and cam cap. That should take care of that, but there seems to be oil seeping out from the headgasket. I did use ARP head studs so I plan on retorqing them to hopefully remedy that issue.
Misc. noise.
The motor has right at 800 miles on it and I know forged pistons tend to make more noise upon startup, but mine seems to still make a bit of noise (more than normal). They don't seem to quiet down after the motor warms up. Could a bad valve adjustment do this? I even poked around w/ the screwdriver to my ear and my injectors seem to be the loudest. Any ideas would greatly help.
The motor has around 800 miles or so right now. This is a complete first time everything for me...motor build, valve adjustment, etc. Any help would be appreciated. I searched around and listened to a clip or two of what they referred to as piston slap, but It isn't that loud of a noise. It oddly enough is quiet at idle and gets faster with the motor, but not louder. TIA.

Re: new motor issues... (RacerXI)
The oil leak from the head is common if you have slight warping on the block/head surfaces, didnt use copper spray or the dowels were checked for properly clearance.
The tapping you hear could possibly be the onset of rod knock. If the noise gets more audible with increasing mileage on the engine its most like the case.
