hey noob (j/k)
i have a question for ya...
when you say pressure drop what do you mean? I have a tial set with the 6.5 psi spring, but i'm only getting about 4 psi of boost...is the FMIC causing the pressure drop? Is this normal? would a mbc be able to correct this? thanks for your help and welcome aboard on your journey to h-t addiction.

A boost controller manual or otherwise, will fix your problem.

welcome. You got my good graces. Greddy kit is nice for a stock D16. You will find that people here on H-T are very helpful. You'll find that most people here are using Hondata. here are just some newbie things to keep in mind.
1) becarefull of what questions you ask(or you will get flamed)..not by me though
2) USE THE SEARCH BUTTOn....... it will provide you with plenty of information on almost any part and topic. Look on the right side and you will see a ACRIVED button also check into that.
3) when you do polls keep in mind to look you choices or people will mess up your post... hehe
4) be warned their are thread hi-jackers... heheheh you'll find out what i mean
5) ask smart and detaild questions and you will get smart useful answers.
5) have fun.

welcome agian...I wish people would of told me this stuff when i first got in.

couple more things...

7.) don't ever get a body kit or graphics on your car. get lips, just like everyone else.
8.) make sure you get some black rota's. everyone on HT seems to have those.
9.) unless you keep it close to stock you will be labeled as as a "stunna."

i have a body kit, graphics, 17" rims, lowered suspension, amps, woofers, dark window tint, and my 4 DOOR is boosted with 8 psi. you can guess what i've been labeled as. even though my car has go as well as show. its also nice to see another boosted 4 door. there isn't many of us in here.

oh yeah, i almost forgot, altezza's will get you flamed too. umm, i have those too.
ROFL. You altezzed out, body-kit wearin, 4 door Civic drivin, fairy .

ya im kinda a turbo newbie, but i do alot of research before i do things. like when i did my auto to manual conversion, i researched for over 1yr and i did it in like 1.5 days with no probs. as for the turbo, i researched this as well for about a year and i knocked it out in the july 4th weekend. as far as having a boosted 4dr, i love it. theres only 3 phat 4drs in my city. theres mine, theres another almost same color but its riced out with TVs/dvd, 18s,etc, then theres a custom green 4dr with LS swap and T3/T4 hybrid turbo set up....all of them are 5th gens too. all the other 4drs are shitty or riced out. if u wanna check out some pics of my ride, click on this link: http://briefcase.yahoo.com/bc/craz_e...c=bc%26.view=t
-----------
for a complete list of my mods, click on this link: http://protocol.streetracing.org/ericmods.htm

lata guys...i hope to get some help from u guys soon. p'z
