Default New fuel pump threshold psi?

i am doing my research here for a custom kit and have a question regarding fuel pumps. what is the threshold psi for which i will need to upgrade my stock fuel pump to a walbro? some people say 6psi, others say 10psi.

thanks in advance.

will you have aftermarket injectors? or just add'l ones? I'm not sure on what psi, but I know for my setup, fmax at 9psi, with 2 add'l injectors, stock wont hold up for very long. I have the ERL MF2 injector controller. If you can just get the fuel pump. in best buys forum walbro 255lph for $89 shipped is a great deal!! Just also make sure you have a fuel pressure regulator that can handle the extra load.

Personally I would get the pump in case you want to up the boost or you spike or something. But I know people that run 6psi with that set up and dont have any problems. I wouldnt go over that though.
