Default New-found respect....

Well, I just finished Day 1 of my MaxRev install. I've got to say that I'm battered, bloody, and bruised. I never would have imagined the work that goes into putting a kit in when it's "generally" designed for all b-series honda, but better designed for 3rd gens. I have a 2nd gen LS Teg and, my god, EVERYTHING seems to be in the way. Anyway, I ran into some problems and if there's anyone that could chime in, I would greatly appreciate it.

1. Aren't there supposed to be gaskets from turbo to manifold, turbo to downpipe, oil feed, and oil drain?
2. How the hell do you tighten up the bottom bolts on the manifold to the block?
3. The kit comes with 2.25 intercooler piping, but I noticed that the intake is a 2.0 inch outlet, what gives?

Ok, that's it, I'm too tired to think of anymore, I'll post pictures of my setup as soon as I'm done (hopefully this weekend).

When you do, could you please post pics of your IC piping routing? Specifically the drivers side with the bumper cover off if you could. I am turboing a DA as well and am about to start routing IC pipe. Thanks and good luck.

1. I got a gasket for the mani/turbo, and oil drain. It was in the box with the turbo.
2. Use a wrench, not a ratchet.
3. I bought a 2inch --> 2.5inch silicone coupling seperately for this.

Good luck!

if you dont wanna pay out the assload for a silicone reducer, buy a little piece of 2" silicone and a little piece of 2 1/4" silicone, then put the 2" inside the 2 1/4" and bam you have a reducer.

there were no gaskets for any of those connections you said, you don't need them
