New Clutch/Flywheel = Car feels slower
I recently took out the slipping stock clutch and put in a new Exedy Organic with an ACT 12lb Flywheel. I've broken it in about 200 miles so far - not done yet. But I did hit it off once today. It feels significantly slower. Would the lighter flywheel be the cause of this? It seems that I'm boosting at the same RPMs if not sooner. I'm going to check my compression numbers today as well to try and rule out anything internally.
Has anyone else noticed anything when they switched to a lighter flywheel? Or maybe the clutch hasn't been broken in fully - and was still slipping? beats me.

Exactly break in the clutch for about a month to two month just to be on the safe side. Normal driving only resist the temptation to race or youll mess it up again bro dont wanna do that.

Break your clutch in for sure.
It'll feel like less power down low with the new fw. Im actually tossing my TODA cause my 60' got worse over my stock 18lb gsr one. I dont see how it will hurt you at high rpms though.

Might sound dumb, but if your clutch was slipping its obviously gunna rev up faster than if the clutch is grabbing.

Thanks, I'll wait for the clutch to break in some more and reevaluate. Maybe I'm just getting used to the power.
