Default Gsr turbo boost question

i dont like to post unless i cant find the answer to my questions (couldnt find this). I have a an ek with b18c1 swap. I am almost finished with my turbo install, and wanted to know how much boost i cant push safely on the stock injectors. I have 9:1 JE pistons, stock injectors are 240cc i believe. i also wanted to know how much advance on my timing i should have any help would be greatly appreciated. i dont want to push it to much as i will be ordering bigger injectors as soon as i decide on what to get.

keep stock injectors and dont go into boost! safest way really! unless you want to run around 55-60 psi of fuel incase u get the itch to go into boost!

stock injectors....like 5-6psi..depending on turbo size....but im guessing you have a stock ecu also?? if so, all you are going to do is throw CEL and engine will run like **** on boost. you need a chipped ecu and have it street tuned atleast. unless you wanna run around with CEL spitting and sputtering on boost.

i would suggest you upgrade to some 550cc or some 750s you can get them for like 200-300 and also get hondata

well not turbocharging is not an option the whole motor is built around it. I was thinking 750cc cause thats the biggest i can find saturated, and i dont want to mess with resistors. i figured about 5 lbs until i get upgraded fuel system and ecu.

stock fuel system and ecu can handle normal driving, but i would NEVER under ANY circumstances get into boost....if you can't stay out of the gas, you may as well pull that engine and send it to me....i'll return a box of metal shavings and a few F'd pistons in return

I'm running a small turbo on a D16 @ 11:1 afr's, and the stock 240's would max out at 4psi when I scale the map back to them (and it was afr tuned at every parts change, so I'm not just guessing). 240's are good for ~180whp NA, ~160 turbo, which is like 1psi on a small turbo for a GSR.

Seeing as how any capible tuner can get 1000cc injectors to idle fine, just get anything 750cc-1000cc now and you'll be fine for at least 500whp.

did you not read all the replies? the ECU CANT read boost in stock form. and youll absolutley not be able to drive around on larger injectors with the stock ECU.

honestly if your not going to do it right, dont do it at all.
