Maybe somtheing has changed, but none of the PTE turbos I have held, first hand, dissassembled have been Garrett CHRAs. Or if they are, they use a different center housing and back plates then any of the straight Garrett parts that I have seen.

I'm not a turbo expert, and I'm not claiming to be. I am just saying the PTE turbochargers I have messed with have at least not been typical Garrett CHRAs.

 

I did pay for shipping, but he is paying me back with some goodies.

 

Precision is by far one of the best people to have around the industry.
