Neukin Issues?
We also use nothing but sch 40 SS and have only had one report of this happening. The manifold is made out of the same material the others are. Since then we changed the way the manifold was welded in that location. This was about 5 months ago. I wasnt 100% sure why it happened but it has nothing to do with the 44mm. The area may have been heated so much the metal became weak it cracked not on the weld but next to it. If you know of another case let me know to further our development.
The manifolds we make are top notch and have no problems i can see.
Iv contacted other companies before we started and they admitted of a few issues before also, it a given it might happen but these types of manifolds are made to have no issues at all. Thanks -Alex

I really have no clue if they have a problem or not but no matter what product you buy one or two of them are always going to have defects out of the thousands that the company produces. It's like an unwritten law or something.
the 1 report was on our manifold. it did not crack on the weld it cracked on the piping itself. We are using the tial 44mm wastegate also. This only happened once. we have had this manifold for over 2 years now and it has been daily driven and raced at numerous events without a problem.
we called alex and alex told us to send it back out to him. it came back good as new.
Both are cars run the neukin manifold and they are top notch quality! alex will take care of you if you ever have any issues...which would be unlikely.
