Default Neukin Issues?

I was recently looking in some thread and I read about a guy who was using a Neukin manifold with a tial 44mm wastegate and he had a problem with the wastegate runner staying welded. He said it had broken off a couple of times. I also heard rumors of this happening. But everyone i see using a 38mm w/g have no issues.

Is the weight that big of difference? Anyone else having this problem with the neukin manifold or any problems at all?

I am really considering one of these and i am going 44mm w/g but i don't want to have any issues?

Its either neukin if all checks out ok, or one-fab. Anyone got something to say about that decision? Or about one-fab manifolds?

Neukin and One-fab. This is not to bash on your products. This is souly to see if any problems are true and maybe to help you out with future manifolds.

Thanks in advance.

I don't like the welds that Neukin uses....so I can see how a wasgate flange might crack with the weight

How is he bashing them? He was asking if the Neukin/44mm combo had widespread trouble. I didn't know trying to find info was bashing a company

I understand its a "shitting" contest, but i am mainly here to hear peoples opinions and who has had problems. All the other threads where which manifold to get, i am here to ask what are the issues with some. And contacting a vendor doesn't help, you really think they are gonna say "my manifold is gonna crack, go with someone else"? No, they are gonna say theirs will be problem free buy my product.

i talked to the guy from fab-works. He seems good. He said something about his welds go 100% all the way through. Does neukin and all those other companies do that also?

it's called 100% penetration, it doesn't really matter if they have lifetime guarantee. If they offer lifetime guarantee that means they're confident that their product will hold up. 100% or not as long as it hold up it's all good.

I am a Dealer for Full Race and One Fab! Both are of the HIGHEST QUALITY and I have NEvER had any issues with either of these manifolds cracking EVER!!! They both use thick wall stainless steel and the welds are GREAT, as long asyou have a company using QUALITY Materials and doing a QUALITY job you will get a Product. I refuse to sell JUNK so I have selected my Products I carry based off of the BTES OF THE BEST!!! One Fab and Full Race

Edit:I do not have any EXPERIENCE with Neukin personally just FYI. Ihave never heard complaints on QUALITY for either of the brands I carry though

I have used the ONE-FAB Top Mount manifold on my car, we're also using the Turbosmart 48mm WG, which is by far is the heaviest out of all larger WG out there.

Here's a comparison pic of the Tial 44mm and Turbosmart 48mm.

I have never have any issues of cracking on the WG runner. We run the car very hard and I have busted a motor mount inserts, but the welds are all in perfect top notch shape.

One-Fab welds very effectively and uses thick 8 Ga Schedule 40 SS.

Stan
