NepTune RTP software released!
1. It is a linear span so yes the EMS fills out the inbetween data
2. They are all the same from the manufacturer ex: PLX m300 values nver change. Why would you need to see them
3. Look at the quick keys on the top of the screen
4. You can switch between secondary maps. You can enable/disable this feature
5. No difference. A .bin you can burn to chip the .ncl you can't
6. No. There are legalities associated with that

What's goin on biiiirdman, you looking at putting a RTP on the Accord? Or did you get something else now?
You wouldn't want to do #6 anyway. Besides the legality issues, I learned the hardway writing import crap for Uberdata that every Honda editor out there has different ways of handing fuel calculations.
The only thing you'd want to possibly carry over are timing, and thats pretty easily entered/duplicated. It took me all of 20 minutes to get roughly the same tune I was using on Uberdata into my RTP!

What's up Gimpy! I sent you a PM on AD. Yeah, I am seriously considering getting RTP for the Accord. Since I really don't know much about tuning I am gonna start by putting the values from your F22B1 Accord map in.
I just wish I could find a good F22B2 map to start with. I don't want to kill my daily driver.

I still don't see where/how you turn off secondary maps if all you want to use is primary maps.
The reason why I asked about rom/calibration is that the software says you can upload and download either an entire rom or a calibration. I know the calibration files are alot smaller than a rom. Also, I don't see how you can save or open an entire rom, all the software wants to save seems to be just the calibration.

Resize to your needs before setting up the tables.
Standard maps are available when you create a new basemap via File>New
It's all outlined in the Help section which will be available soon. Until then, keep playing.

You can only save and load calibrations. Uploading the entire rom uploads the complete base rom, which may change from time to time with the addition of new features. Uploading a calibration only uploads your settings and maps, etc.

Bird- James actually worked with the Prelude/Accord code *way* more than I or anyone else did. I'm sure that it could be possible for him to include P0A, P0C, P13, P14 base maps to the application at some point.
I'll go check my AD pm's!

3.) User interface does have a learning curve.
I must admit that the UI isn’t what a Hondata or Crome user might be used to. I would align the “visual experience” to Uberdata. At first it might not seem as intuitive, but once you learn all the quick keys it’s very workable. Now that I’ve mastered it a bit and made a “quick reference” for all the key combinations, I’m very comfortable with it.
If you’re expecting / can’t live without 3d graphs (that really have no use anyway) and other graphical widgets, this is not the system for you.
On the upside of all of this simplicity, the application is like Uberdata in that you don’t need a bunch of .dll’s and other junk. The executable has pretty much everything it needs within it, and it just WORKS. It’s great to keep on my USB keychain like I did Uberdata! This is a big plus to me.
This is definitely a system designed in mind for savvy users! Don’t let that scare you though, you can learn your way around quickly.

This is one thing I told James when I first got it. I was use to Hondata big time and it was learning curve. It was a learning curve but trust me, it doesn't take that long and once you know it, you forget other EMS's.
It isn't that hard. I believe Tepid and I had it when there was no help so we called James.
Once the help file is out (if not already) read it while on the ******* a couple of times. Print it out and put it in a binder, that is what I did.......at work one day.
I am a shortcut key freak when at work so I like the quick keys.
Lastly, I have no idea if this has been mentioned (I can't read everything right now) but for those who live in high car theft areas, you can disable the fuel pump when you leave the car overnight by changing 1 drop down list. Open the "Parameters" section and under extras>extras it allows you to turn the fuel pump off. It won't prevent the car from getting broken in too but it won't go very far.
I am sure James will add some new features later on.

I love the fact that James has focused on what is most often forgotten: the basic functionality of the management system. IT JUST WORKS, and well I might add!
He didn’t waste his time focusing on things like auto tuning, fake dyno & performance charts (that have little relevance in the real world) and all the rest of the fluff you see elsewhere. Things like basic drivability settings, input / output control and (my personal favorite!) data logging are flawless.
</TD></TR></TABLE>
In reguard to this statement, I would have to say that the auto-tune feature was VERY nice in Crome for street tuning the mid RPM points, and takes A LOT of the hassle out of it. If you've used the feature, you should and THEN make bold statements like this.
