get an sc61. That won't be too bad. Stop street racing by the way. Quick acceleration is okay, but remember speed limits are there for our safety. And yours of course . Anyway, head work isn't necessary to achieve that horsepower level. Forged pistons and rods are a plus, a good manifold, and turbo are better. You can easily acheive that goal. Easily.

yeah me too. Anyway, I say get an sc61. Or a t3/t4 60 trim .63 a/r. They will most definately provide you with the necessary power. Its a b16 head so it flows quite well. I'm using it for my prelude build.

Re: (TheKingPin)
an sc61 is to big of a turbo for his power range..... yeah he can hit 350 on probably 7psi but the turbo is by no means in its efficiency range at that point. why put a 500 + hp turbo on a engine that isnt built for it.
But if you plan to go BIG in the future the sc61 is a good shoice for power up top.
the garrett t3/t4 .60/.62 is capable of 400 horses around 12-16 psi well within its efficiency range. wit hpretty decent spool.

Re: (Importordomestic)
Once again I recomend the sc61. WHY????
Why would you use this turbo on a stock motor and this power range. You MIGHT get power up top but your torque will suffer significantly. THis is not the right application for this setup, If you decide to go this way you will be dissapointed.

I have to totally agree with this. I'm very tired of the SC61 just being blurted out as an answer without understanding HOW he wants the 300whp that he needs, or is looking for. Yes. it is a powerful turbo, but it's not needed for everyone. If he is considering the SC44, due to its characteristics, please contact me. Perhaps you can use another alternative.

why not a t3/t61? or a t3/t67 or a gt4088 or a gt42r since it seems like bigger is better. but really you may not need a turbo that big just get one that has good overall efficiency and a good solid boost controller and turn the boost up.

WHY CHOSE THE SC61 IN THIS CASE...........
Reason: Because - I'm assuming that he has a non-sleeved bottom end. If he were to get some small *** turbo; he'd have to boost more than 7-8 psi. With an sc61 - he'll be able to reach 350whp very quick, and still have room for more. Whats the point of getting a small *** turbo, when there's a limit? Boost is very addicting - as you all well know - so, eventually, he's going to want to do more bottom end work so he can turn up the boost. This way, he can avoid purchasing a bigger turbo - it will serve both purposes. I didn't only recommend the sc61 - i also recommended a Garrett t3/t4e 60 trim .63 a/r. Thats a nice size turbo for him, and I wouldn't see any reason to go smaller. And if he wants - he can get that turbo w/the ball bearing upgrade for 799.00 + 7.50 shipping.
