TURBO recommendation??
I've got a rods/ pistons built ls vtec. B16 head, gsr cams, omni valve springs, blox i.m., and an ls block with je 9:1 pistons on eagle rods. I'm looking to push this motor to the 400 hp range, maybe just under 400.. Can somebody recommend a good, quick spooling turbo that could achieve these numbers? Maybe somebody has something for sale? Ive gone through the marketplace numerous times but it's a little tough when you're not 100% sure what your needing. Any input is appreciated thanks.

Re: TURBO recommendation??
400 would be pushing a 50 trim pretty hard a 57 trim would likely fit a lil better but that is pretty much maxed out at 450.
I hate calling with of those turbos by "trim" but that's the most common reference for the two.

just under 400 would tap out the 50 trim and be at the efficiency limit for a 57 or 60 trim t3/t04e
if your budget allows, a gt3071 or gt3076 would be perfect for your power goals and have a nice fat, broad power band.
