Need tips on doing an engine build-up / rebuild...
-Is there anything you reccomend doing that not very many people do??
-Any secrets to getting a long lasting efficent motor??
-Any places that you reccomend for parts??

BTW, I am building up my spare ZC block.
My goal- have 15 PSI and a low RPM phased 30 shot.
Here is what's going in it...
Eagle rods
JE pistons
STR block gaurd. (not going to re-sleave)
OEM berrings, gaskets ect....

getting a helms manual, and all the measuring tools that the book recoomends. its nice to check all your clearances and blue print your own engines
