does anyone know if a b-series dohc vtec intake manifold will fit a d-series?? i know i will have to modify it a little....... i am wanting to buy the JG VICTOR JR manifold and make it fit my d-series.!!!! has any one done this???.......... or does anyone know of a good company that make a good intake manifold for the d-series motors?? beside Venom,Or STR???

Im Talking with the Edelbrock R&D right now on designing a Victor X manifold, for the D series. IF interested please let me know so me and the R&D dept. can push the big guys to start production on D series manifolds.

i shall tell you that anything is possible. i mated a gsr dual stage intake manifold to my ls head and i did a lot of grinding, cutting, drilling, filling, and measuring. no it doesn't bolt up but it was somewhat close. with my old ls intake, my friend wanted to put it on his crx so we tried to compare and the d-series is just a dwarf compared to the ls which isn't even all that. and the main thing is that the ports aren't even close to mating. it was something that i wouldn't try. i would instead build a short and straight runner/box plenum manifold. just get a flange made or buy one if you can. the design is so simple to duplicate.
