Default Need some help with some boost issues...

Setup.
b18c, 1000cc inj, 9:1 jg motor

Full Race t4t67 turbo kit
tial 40mm .8bar
turbo xs dsbchp
Full race rear fed ic with 2.25 u-bend feeding a 2.5 all the way to the tb.

Here is the problem, I cant get it to make over 20 psi. I have the boost control backed all the way out. THought it might be a fuel issue so I fattened it up with no difference.

ANy help?

Is it holding boost solid at 20psi or is it fluttering? I'm just thinking your WG spring has met it's limit. Just an idear. btw..howdy from south alabama..

You need a bigger wastegate spring

it sounds to me that you have met the limits on your wastegate spring, you can only run 2x it limit, so you must have a 9-10 psi spring

0.8bar spring = 11.6psi. 11.6psi * 2 = 23.2psi. You're very close to doubling your WG spring. Like everyone else said, get a bigger spring.

I am guessing you already figured this out, Tracy, since you posted about getting a new wastegate spring. I had the same problem after doubling the boost on the wastegate spring. With the new spring, I get better boost response, have to turn the boost controller less, and it takes more stress off the boost controller.
