Default need some help on psi choice for my setup..

as title says im stumped. i want to have a reliable dd. Its a stock d16y8, 450 cc injectors, walbro 255, and i will be gettin street tuned by a well known tuner in my area on chrome.

Im going to be running an older turbonetics t3t t4 with a .48/.60 ar i believe. a friend of mines keep telling me to get tuned on 10 but i dont wanna be pushing around 240-250. i wanna stay rite around 210ish on high boost. so i was thinkin maybe 8lbs. he told me that its only 2 punds and it wont really make a difference and il be happier on 10 but this is my dd. not a race car, i want it to stay reliable. w.e i get tuned on, wont be daily driven, il probly dd on 5-6 lbs. but i dont wanna throw a rod when i decide to get on high boost. so wat is 2 lbs really? should i jus run 8lbs for the extra assurance that il be safe. i later plan on doin a eagle rod and vitara piston build so i want the motor to last until then.. advice?

Talk this over with your tuner. If he is a well known tuner like you say he should know what he's dealing with. PSI means nothing really depends on setup and tuner what numbers he can get out of it. Boost is addicting so you might wanna get tuned for 210 now but than 2 weeks later you wanna go faster and 210 seems weak. Tune for a lil bit more and bring the boost down for DD.

just have the tuner do whatever he feels is safe as long as you trust him and his knowledge with d series (not as easy to tune for high hp as a B imo)
