Need Some Help.... first start!!
whats up H-T..... well i got this hatch back in march and i recently finished puttin in my turbo set up.... i hap the car running a few months back for a day or two but since then i changed a few things and it just been sitting.... since the last time it was running i changed the intake mani and and charge piping.... my problem is now when i go to start the car it jumps to like 6k and surges from 1500 rpms to between 5k-7k... i went over all my vacuum connections, checked the throttle body tto make sure it was closed, changed the iacv and re torqued the intake mani.... that throttle boday has no fast idle valve being it is a jdm itr tb and i just cant figure this **** out.... any help with this situation would be greatful....

My first guess would be either:
Your throttle plate isn't actually closing all the way...or
Your TPS sensor is bad, loose or needs to be adjusted.
Easiest way to check for leaks is to pressurize those pipes...which I would do for sure anyways. Its amazing what kind of small leaks can get patched up easily that you wouldn't have otherwise known about.

i figured it out a little one of the weld on the intake mani had a hairline crack i closed it up now it idles at 4k not 6k or 7k but its still really high... can this be a MAP related issue or even a dizzy problem... oh and the throttle plate i def closed.... i dont think the TPS is bad due to the fact it is fairly new and the is no engine codes.... thanx any more info would be appreciated!!
