simple answer they work just dont get stupid an wanna rev up to 10K your car is not an indy or F1 car so be real about it.
rod bolt strecthing is what causes most rods to F-up.
also arias pistons are great just about all the forge pistons for a B-series are good just find some in the bore you want

I've taken Eagles to 10K, no problems.

There's a lot to be said about knowing how to assemble a bottom end if you want it to hold together.

Anything aftermarket is going to have hugely variable results at any power level.

The 2000's.

It was actually 9700, but adding the 300 rpms for a nice round five digit number is much more satisfying.

ok can beat that we have had eagle rods to 11k. the new big bolts they come with are great and bergenholtz runs arias pistons making over 1000 hsp and that's the only pistons we use

its not so much as power thats killing a rod but RPM's and bad installs and poor builds

10K puts a bigger tensile load on the rod than 1000 whp puts a compressive load on the rod. Jojo made 1200 on an older set of Eagles with the older/weaker rod bolts... they are a very good copy of Carillo.

yeah with 1/16th of the price to bad you cant put 3/8th car bolts in an eagle rod

oh ok. basically is what i am getting too here is i can get really good deal on both of these and plan on using them in a k20 stock sleeved motor first until my sleeved motor is done. But if they will hold the power its not so much reving it up it will be in a k24/k20 so im not going that high. But i dont like cheaping out on parts i just wanted to see if other people actually had problems not due to tuning just power. thanks everyone

Could you elaborate a bit on what specific mistakes people make in bottom end assembly that can cause failure?

improper clearences and wrong torque specs are the biggest two i can think of right now the next would be lubrication errors
