Default NEED SOME HELP!!!!!

whats up guys I was wondering I have a civic si with a turbonetics turbo..i have 2.5inch piping all the way back with a hks hi power exhaust. but in the last week cops have been staring at me like they want to kill me lol so wanted to know if i can just weld my stock exhaust back on and run that with the 2.5inch piping???? Suggestions would be great thanx

how would you weld your "stock exhaust" back on but still be 2.5"? Do you mean you stock muffler? You can have the 2.5" piping but it would have to then be flanged/bent down to the size of the muffler. Thus defeating the purpose of having 2.5 piping.

yea i was thinking of just weldling my stock muffler back on...but i talked to a shop and they said that if i do that my motor can blow up???? i was also thinking of going with the es oval muffler does that sound good does anyone have it?? with a 2.25????

that shop is dumb. On honda-tech there is a shop selling Vibrant mufflers which are very very nice. Flat black and oval. 125 or so shipped. I currently have one.
