im getting ready to re do my bottom end needs rings and pistons and just gone threw motor has 200,000 and a lot of those are under boost. my question is it ok to leave the turbo on the motor after rebuild and just do the motoman method to break it in?

nice how does it still run now? did you just run less boost?

 

As long as you have the proper amount of fuel and don't beat on it too hard, the new bottom end should seat noramlly.
