Cometic Turbo Headgasket (Compression is 9.5:1)
Nuformz Block Guard

P28 ECU tuned with CromePro
Right now I have been tuned for 9 pounds. Car has been running perfect for 5k miles. I am going to be taking it off the street in about a month and half. My question is would it be OK to have it tuned for 11 pounds of boost right now. If I blow something, I'll be OK cause I am building the block over the winter. A good idea or no?
Thanks

hehe, already got te itch to turn up the boost... if your building it and summer is about over soon, I would just wait man... yeah most of us blow a motor before rebuilding it, but you really do take a chance of having a lot of extra cost if it blows in an ugly maner... like dropping a valve for instance, or putting a rod through the side of the block...
you'll most likely just blow the ring lands though...
I say be nice to the GSR, wait for the build

couldnt agree more...2psi isnt gonna do anything...well it will...but you wont notice the difference....crank it to 15....then retune...and youll def notice a power gain!
but then again your already close to maxin out those puny injectors...so i wouldnt push it to much farther
