need help with turbo sizing. specs inside
Our work truck has kicked the bucket and I might grab the turbo and untercooler .
I am 99%sure this is the turbo, my concern is the turbine is to large for a stock d16z6 on a HF manifold. Its a daily driver looking for 180 to 200whp but would prefer not to have a quick spool as gas milage is important and there is lots of hiway driving(would rather not be in boost at 3000rpm and partial throttle
here is what I was able to dig up.
its a t25 core
Side Mount TB25 freefloating (no wastegate)
51.3mm/40mm cold, 60 trim 0.48 A/R cold
50.6mm/46.1mm hot, 83 trim, 0.89 A/R hot
Code XD 0219J
Isuzu 8-9438-290-00
Garrett 466898-6
my other concern is , I want a low key install and the lack of internal wastgate has me concerned as i really did not want to have a big externalwastegate.
Thanks

should work just fine, you won't have to worry about being in boost while cruising cause that really doesn't happen unless you own a diesel truck.
as for mpg, its all in the tune. spend a good amount of time doing a partial throttle tune and it will pay for its self very quickly.
