Anyone heard of a T5 size turbo?
Involved in another discussion re: a T5 turbo. Unfortunately no details. Seems kind of ridiculous if it follows the T25/T3/T4 sizing pattern.
Or could it be the turbo off of a Volvo? How big are those things?
Thanks for any input.

i believe the next up from the T4 series are T50, T60, etc... and you find those on heavy truck engines, generators, etc. I may be wrong though.

differant manufacturers use differant names for their turbos... generally after the t4 at least to my knowldege is sizes comes the t-series from turbonetics...

Well, I figured the volvo turbo would be smaller than most aftermarket apps. T5 as in the model name of the car. If someone described the size of their turbo (on a civic) as a T5, what can one assume?
1. small T3 off a volvo? . . . . or
2. a large truck turbo that won't spool until 7,000 rpms on a civic. . . . or
3. The guy is an idiot.
I'm tempted to go with #3.
And ek9t, I don't understand the grammar in your post.
