need help with turbo
how much should i pay to get my turbo put in? i'm located in the east bay. any one knows of any shops out here that is good with setting up turbo?

Hmm well I would say try it yourself first unless you really have no clue what your doing such as me. I wouldnt spend over $500 for the install.

time, time, time... first install is all about time and patience. Figure out how much your time is worth ($$) and if its anywhere close to a shop's asking price then you have to figure out if you wanna learn or just have piece of mind. Don't forget, many shops are absolutely brainless.

Speed image charges 500, but personally, i wouldnt trust them.
Tech 3, 700, i dont trust them too.
The places i do trust, dyno spot racing and exact motorsports, they charge a grip. like a G. I'd say just research on it and do it yourself..its not that hard.. but if your totally clueless and dont know jack...i wouldnt risk your motor.

i did mine in a couple of weekes. intercooler & fmu first. oil pan second. oil supply line 3rd. cut the block 4th. and then installed the turbo. oil supply is a bitch
