Need help with setting with safc on sohc..
Can anyone help me out and tell me about what settings i should be running on high and low correction. The motor is 1.5 sohc, 450 cc dsm,255 intank fuel pump,safc2, stock head, 8psi.
Heres my setup and settings:
Dyno tuned D15b7 @ 6 psi w/ DSM 450's and SAFC
settings are same for high and low

well, my settings aren't dyno tuned, and are rather different from the above, but both me (d16z6, 255intank + dsm450s) and my friend (d15b7) are using them:

why do you have less fuel in high throttle???? i wouldnt do this, i was running the hack only to find out it was the dumbest thing i did.
Anyways my settings were
low
1-4 k -36%
4k -35%
5-6k -34%
7-8k -33%
High
1-3k -36%
and then it varies all the way up to 9k, i was running on a b18c with rc 440's. at some rpm incriments the corrections were -28%. i have the numbers writen down at home.
However i would not run the hack, im speaking form expierience that its bad news. it inconsistant plus the fact that it adds a shatload of timing.

10k miles on both cars and still going strong. zero detonation. i'll PM you when it blows up. until then, I swear by the hack.

so you decreased the fuel as the rpm rises. i dont get it why that would work. Does you turbo die off and you just lean it out or something>?

Just because he's leaning out the AFC at high RPM, doesn't neccessarily mean there is less fuel. Remember, the fuel map inside the ECU is non-linear. So at high RPM, there may be more fuel then is needed. Wideband AF sensor is the only way to be sure.

i just got done explaining my settings as well on hmt. 10-11psi on the hack and my hi settings are almost all -50.
NEVER use someone else's settings. set your lo corrections to like -46 to get an equivalent of 240cc and make the hi corrections what you would think to be richer. get it WIDEBAND tuned and lean them to the proper corrections getting you to 11.5-12.5 afr.

How much does the hack advance the timing. Thats what my problem is im getting just a hair of detonation. What should the timing be set to

no hes talking about like a msd btm. (i think) retard your timing like 5 degrees and then see if you have detonation.

NOw that i have the 450cc inj the car has to turn over a few times before starting. Is this normal or should it fire right up like stock? Setting off maybe?

if you got btm do it on btm. iF not do the dizzy
