Default Need Help, please look...

Hi, here are some pictures of my engine with the turbo. I need to know how you guys made your pipping to the air filter or if anyone knows where I can get one (store or person). Right now, I have a SMALL *** filter and it's not cutting it. When I'm at full throttle, the turbo is trying to suck in soooo much air but the small filter is constricting the HP and adding a lot of stress when spooling. Anyone out there willing to hook me up with some info on how to get the piping or sell me theirs, thanks.

Small filter

I'm looking for somthing like this:

I just used some 45 degree silicone connectors and a small section of 3" exhaust piping to do this:

Thanks for the info, where do I get the silicone connectors? I might try connecting it to my piping to make it point upward instead of downward.

I got one from Viren aka b18bturbo, for the other one I used a 90 degree rubber connector from Home Depot that I cut up.

Yeah you are doing the exact same thing I did when I first turboed my car. It would only boost like 4-5 pounds and it had no power at all. I contacted SFP I just told them the manifold, turbo and the car and they shipped one out to me. Only thing is South Florida Performance took a long *** time. I wish I had pics to post cause they did an awesome job on the pipe. Also if you can weld just order some pipes through JC Whitney and make your own. Hope this helps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
