Default need help picking head gasket for built motor.

ok so i am doing ls vtec turbo. the block built and bored out to 82mm. i am going for around 450whp. some said used cometic, some say use one layer copper. i searched around little bit and didnt know which one to get. if i was to get cometic how thick should i get? any input is appreciated.

oem honda..............you can also get if need be oem honda head gasket to you bore size by golden eagle.

ive been at 410 to 500whp oem GE headgasget past 2 years.

i have a oem head gasket at my friends shop and we measured it is and it was actually 84 mm so i dont think i need to bore out the oem one since i am only at 82mm.

Golden eagle gaskets are oem honda order an 82mm one and do it right the first time

you could actually use an 84mm headgasket since you have aftermarket sleeves, like a stock b20 gasket. Otherwise i would recommend getting a Golden Eagle Gasket, opened up to your diameter. I wouldn't touch cometic with a ......

I have a block that is bored out over stock size. Do you have one that will fit my bore size?

Yes, we take factory genuine Honda head gaskets and precision CNC cut them to specific bore sizes. We always have all sizes in stock.

one more question. if i get an after market haedgasket should i get it with O ring or no Oring on the headgasket. my block is ls with benson sleave.

no o-ring unless your sleeves have receivers.

how do i know if it has receiver? my sleeves are benson and the block is ls.

Go with either a cometic or golden eagle.I too have Benson sleeves and I am running a Cometic gasket. 844miles on it and so far no issues. I have read that Cometics leak, but often times that is because of installer error.

is ls and gsr head gasket same. i was trying to order one but the guy i was talking to said b18 and no difference between gsr and ls. is that true?
