Need help finding off shelf piston...
I am building up my GF's d16z6 engine right now. I decided for her car that high compression and turbo would a good choice for her daily driver. I am keeping the boost levels at 8psi on pump gas, and probably will never see race gas. I am building the engine more out of reliability than to withstand enormous amounts of power. My power goal right now is 250whp, and 200ft lbs of torque at 8psi, and with 11:1 and a custom turbo kit based around t3/t04e 57 trim and .48a/r, turbo cam, ported head, Y8 intake manny, b-series throttle body, etc. I should easily be able to meet that power goal, and probably surpass it. My question is simple:
Who makes 11:1 shelf stock forced pistons for the d16z6 block? I would consider any manufactuer at this point, since JE doesnt even make d series pistons. SRP doesnt have 11:1 comp, and wiseco only makes low comp pistons. I cant find anything on arias, and I am not sure about other companies. I know that there is some d knowledge lurking around on this board, somebody help me out.

Re: Need help finding off shelf piston... (boosted hybrid)
Isn't the only difference between a FI piston and a NA piston the comp. ratio? They are made of the same material right? Why not use a "NA" piston for this? I found what look like they would work here http://www.theoldone.com/components/pistons/ Maybe I'm missing something but I don't see why these wouldn't do. Anyways, I hope this helps a little.
