Need help with Drag Turbo.
I recently installed a Drag Gen III on my '99 Civic EX, D16Y8.
Drove it easily for well over 500 miles to break in.
Everything works fine, can hear turbo, can feel turbo....
I am not to confident in the boost reading that I am getting on my gauge (autometer). Initially, I was reading a max of 3 psi. Went to the track this weekend and ran 16's everytime. Is this how fast my car should run? I feel that it should be faster. I adjusted wastegate, and now am reading a little over 4 psi max. The screw is almost beyond the lock nut with this. Is this right?
I am real curious about this gauge, but then again, I also believe my car should be faster.
Any ideas?

Re: Need help with Drag Turbo. (FyRe03)
you have a SOHC w/ 3-4 psi of boost...how fast do you want it???
for comparison: in TX, from what i've seen
stock SOHC vtec = high 16's to 17's
SOHC vtec motors w/ i/h/e = low to high 16 sec time slips depending on driver skill
DOHC vtec motor w/ greddy turbo at 7 psi = 14.2 w/ crap 60 ft time
also, you might have boost leak if you have the wg adjusted all the way and you still only get 4 psi of boost
also depends a lot of driver skill

The wastgate that I have, Deltagate Mark II, should be set at 7 psi. I am just wondering if my gauge is reading correct. When I got the wastegate, the adjusting screw was alomst completely backed out.
