Default Need help with bogging!

I have a 00 Civic SI. The problem I have is with no low end torque, 1st gear just does not pull like it used to, all other gears are good. I have a/f ratio gauge that goes to way lean at idle, it actually goes dark, but only at idle. During WOT it goes to the last three green bars. I've lowered my baseline fuel pressure to 38psi and static to 40psi and I still get a cel 45(running rich). My mods are below. I'd appreciate any help.

00 Civic SI
JR Map Controller
AEM Fuel Pressure Regulator
AEM Short Ram intake
Apex WS catback
Catsound hi-flow cat
Boost gauge, air/fuel ratio gauge

If it was lean it wouldn't be in the dark...that means your running rich..

you need to lean it out with a VAFC or something, which I see you don't have. Maybe you can make adjustments with that JR map controller. I have the foggiest idea what that is though..

the red light in idle is normal but then as the car warm up it should be coming back and forth...and during decelaration the light will go off...this are the normal conditions but about the running reach...i dont know the only thing will be lower the fuel pressure until u get the right set up...

Ok I had my valves adjusted, checked timing - it's at 21 deg, static pressure(with FMU disconnected & plugged) is at 42psi. The bogging is still there, but I have some more info. The JRSC makes boost instantly right? We'll in 1st gear, where I have the most bogging, My boost gauge does not go into boost until after 4000 rpm's It stays at or below 0 until after 4000 rpms's. In all the other gears it goes into boost almost instantly, I would say at around 1600 rpm's, in all other gears. So, does anyone know what might be causing this?

Donno about hte bogging but the JRSC should make boost instantly. I'm not saying you'll get tire sreaching power instantly, but if you nail it at 2000 in first you should see boost immediatly, not a lot of power to be had there but boost none the less.

I had a similar problem after my initial install. Boost came on late and slow. I had a kink in my nylon tubing to my boost gauge. The car didn't run any differently after fixing it, but I saw instant boost on my gauge. It's amazing how gauges can change your perception. "My boost gauge says I'm not making boost so I must not be."

This might not be your problem, but worth checking out. The bogging and the no boost may be related or unrelated.

So how did you fix your problem of boost coming on late & slow?. I think boost should come on immediately in all gears, but like I said for me it goes into boost after 4000rpm's, in 1st gear only. You can actually feel the power pick up once it goes into boost, so I dont think it's the boost gauge is reading bad. But I am going to check my boost gauge line for any kinks. Could a small vacuum leak be the cause?

Maybe the belt drive is slipping. In first gear, your engine is making alot of tourqe. The engine revs fastest in first maybe making the belt slip. Just guessing?

There was actually no problem. The car just wasn't as fast as I thought it should be. Since the gauge showed that I wasn't building boost until the upper RPMs I took it at face value. Once I found and straightened the kink the gauge read normal but the car acted the same.
