okay I have a B16A2 and the bottom end is built with JE pistions 8:8.1 and eagle h beam rods and a new honda bearing's the motor was resleeved to stock specs because the kid before had melted a ring and there a stock head..

At first it sounded like a it need a valve adjustment or a bent valve checked the adjustment all were good, the compression and there was Cylinder#1-220,#2- 130ish, #3-218,and #4- 220ish.. I had done a leak down test on all the cylinders and 2 definetly leaked. I note the car did run just had made a real small ticking sound(was coming from head) idled kinda funny like i had some crazy cams in it ..

I had removed the motor the two days ago and the head seemd to look fine but still gonna have the machine shop pressure test it.The cylinder walls and pistons look good no markings or scuffs on walls, no missing peices of piston..Going to take the bottom end apart it didn't sound like and bad rod bearing

Any one with what it might be ????
