Need help ASAP!! Code 22 b18b non vtec
Hello honda techies, I just recently wanted to get into boosting Hondas and I know that boosting on a CEL isn't good at all but the question is.... I'm getting code 22 - vtec pressure switch.. I have a b18b non vtec using a p75 ecu. I need a fix and don't know what to do. I've tried several ways to bypass and no luck :/

That isn't possible. The P75 is a non-VTEC ECU, and doesn't look for the VTEC pressure switch. You may have a 20 and a 2. Is it an OBD2 ECU? Is it chipped, socketted, or modified at all?
Post a video of the code, and a picture of the inside of the ECU.

It's obd1. My car is a 94 civic ex coupe but it got an engine swap to the b18b1. I got the ecu socketed and chipped. How do you post videos on here? Sorry I'm kinda new on this site

Yea I'm thinking it's a 20 and a 2, sometimes the blinks can be hard to count... my obd1 accords slow flashes are fast and the fast ones are impossible to count lol, the trick is to watch for the long pause between flashes... that indicates it's counting out a 2nd code.

Sounds like the IACV is still messed up. Pull it off, soak it in brake parts cleaner, and while it's filled with fluid get in there with some q-tips and clean the buildup off of the plunger. It will work great.
Take a look at your FITV too if you have one and turn the plunger back in a couple threads.

I cleaned both. Fitv is perfect. When I had the IAt and iacv connectors backwards it ran perfect but got CEL's for both, switched them back and IAt code went away but now still have code 14 and now it's fluctuating idle at 1500rpms. I don't get how stuff being backwards made it run right and plugging it up correctly makes it run stupid.

So I unplugged the iacv jumped the connector with a paperclip and the light went off when I reset the ecu. I started the car idles perfectly, light stayed off for like 5 seconds then came back on for code 14. Broken iacv possible?!?

Re: Need help ASAP!! Code 22 b18b non vtec
Probably not. You have to realize that when you had the plugs backwards, your iat plug was supplying voltage to the IACV and looking for a return signal voltage. and your IAT was being fed voltage based on startup conditions from the IACV plug. In that case neither will work. Your idle is fluctuating because the iacv can't find a spot that works. Either that, or your coolant is low and air is in the system (stuck in the water ports of the IACV) which is causing it to read funny). Check/bleed coolant, or possibly try switching the IACV out with a known working one to rule it out. They rarely go bad though...
Also, when I had my IACV unplugged it was mostly noticeable in decel, otherwise it's function isn't all that noticeable. But it does matter, believe me.

Unplug the iacv and check base idle, it should be around 800-900rpm with the plug removed.. plug the iacv in and reset the ecu. code should go away, if it doesn't the iacv is bad and needs to be replaced
