Default Need Some Help???

Hi I'm new to the forum as well with force induction. I have recently installed a Greddy turbo kit on my 00 Si. After a week of driving my check engine light goes off. Scanned for the code and the code is coming up as a misfire in the number 3 cylinder. Is that a bad thing to be worrying about???When i'm under boost. I only boost the car to 5psi. I will be taking a look at it on monday. Just wanted to know if this anything to be worried about. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanx.

My Set-up:
-00 Si with 12,000 miles
-Greddy kit w/FMIC
-No blue box..running a Vortech 12:1 FMU
-Drag inline fuel pump
-Stock injectors
-Missing link

I bet your FMU is stuck. Used to happen to me all the time. Bypass the fmu, but Dont boost, and drive around. I can almost guarantee you that its the fmu.

if my fmu is stuck does that mean that my fmu is no good? i bought it brand new from david shih along with the missing link. How do i by pass the fmu? any one have any pics/images on doing do. My fmu is hooked up like it's supposed to be.
The check engine light/the misfiring in the #3 cylinder is nothing to be seriously worried about if the fmu is stuck?

when your FMU sticks, that means that the disc stays open wide dumping too much fuel when the vacuum sources is on the negative...it suppose to stays shut...

here's how you do it, remember how you hook up your FMU ? well, Un-do it...
put the vac sources back and put the return line ( the one that goes on the bottom of the FMU ) back to the stock FPR..

then try to leave it at idle and drive around and see if it bogs...also, you may want to reset the ECU before hand, and see if the CEL comes back on..
