Default in need of detonation advice

I have a b18c1 engine w/ an f-max turbo. The car ran at 10lbs. for three days and fried a piston! I have a low compression head gasket which was supposed to prevent detonation to 13lbs. my air/fuel meter read rich when in boost. Any ideas what went wrong?

I'm new at this and don't have access to dyno. No egt either. I know, not the best way to go. The car ran great and just let loose, no warning signs. Using 93 octane w/ only 64k on engine. Heat was the cause of the breakdown.
