Default N20 questions kinda diff setup need advice!!!

I built my motor based on an allmotor set up which consists of sleeved block and forged crank.
86mm bore with a 92mm crower crank
ls length carrillo ultrlight rods with wiseco pistons.
compression ratio is 12.25:1

i am running twm 50mm itb's with a smsp header and have a direct port kit.

I was gonna run a 50hp shot for beginners but was gonna run a 1gallon fuel cell with methanol.

This might belong in the allmotor forum but being n20 they sent me this way.

id like to get up to a 100hp shot but i just needed advice on the methanol is it worth it should i just spray race gas with the n20 or what. Id like to keep my motor tune pretty aggressive with timing thats why i was thinking methanol but if someone could shed some light on my situation or point me in the right direction any info would be greatly appreciated.

You can run the setup on methanol, but the jetting is going to change. I don't think that mixing fuels is going to be a good idea. Your going to make portions of your air/fuel mixture unstable because mixture hemogeny is going to play a role in knock resistance. I'd run the setup on all methanol, jet it up to attain the a/f's you need with methanol and tune the setup on wideband.

What about when you use meth injection on turbo cars or diesel's? I know about the jetting issue i have to banshee's on alky i was gonna double my fuel jets in my direct port kit. So you think i should either stick with a full meth setup or run race gas out of my fuel cell only to be used when spraying?

Like I said, as long as the fuel supply system can handle the volume need I'd just tune the entire setup on meth...why not?

As far as the cars that use meth injection, they are using the meth injection as a det suppressant, same as if it were water injection, but the car is tuned primarily on the other fuel in accordance with it's combustion characteristics. Your tuned primarily on meth ignition wise, so keep the system injecting meth...that's my opinion on the matter.
