Default N-tercooler

My buddy tim showed me this. Hes going to get it for his turbo Si. Looks pretty interesting. Anyone know how it works? Strange using Nitrous to cool rather than to burn.

Nitrous doesn't ever burn. It super cools the air\fuel mixture when injtected into a motor to allow more air/fuel to be packed into the cylinders, creating a similar effect to turbo or supercharging.

Somebody posted about this product a couple of weeks ago, do a search for more info.

Nitrous Oxide acts like extra oxygen in a cylinder. It goes through the combustion process when fuel is mixed with it and ignited. IT DOES BURN, and the chemicals Oxygen and Nitrogen are separated and burn their butts off in the combustion chamber. It's just a more dense mixture of Oxygen than atmospheric air, which is the reason it's injected to make more HP.

Wonder what kinda gains you would really get by cooling your IC w/ some nitrous.
