my spark plug is red??

Default my spark plug is red??

i pulled my plugs last night and the electrodes were completly RED?? ive never heard of them being red? what does that mean?

well obviously you have brke fluid in your cylinders. That's an easy fix .

okay found this...

Normal, but with red coating: The red coating is a result of the additives in lower-quality unleaded fuel and will be visible on the plug's ceramic insulation. The red coating is not an indication of any engine problems.

but i dont use no low quality fuel. i use some high quality 93 octane from the same gas station that provides 110 octane racing fuel. well i did put some octane booster in it one time..wierd.

Yeah John D is correct, the booster crud is worthless and tarnishes your plugs Gas is the USA is dirty enough without adding more crap to spoil it worse.

i only used it one time and that was about a month ago? and theyre still red?

Yep, octane booster will do that. About a year ago, I got some bad fuel and my car was detonating. I bought some octance booster, and when I eventually changed the plugs, they were red.

I would. NGK BKR7E plugs are only $1.68 at Advance Auto Parts.
