Default My oil return line problem

well I am in the middle of installing my turbo and I find this problem with the oil pan that was sent with the kit I bought.

is there anything I can do to get this done today. I have my existing oil pan if there is anyway I can make a home made oil return fitting without welding

Yikes.

It's on the back side of the pan!

You are going to have to plug that one up and weld a new one on the front of the pan. Why in the world would someone put it back there?

How dumb would it be to just get a longer hose and run it around the block

it would break the world record for dumbness. Plug it, and have another one welded at the front, do yourself a favor and get a #10 AN fitting welded on there, or a 1/2" NPT female bung so that you can use a fitting of your choice.

I got it fixed. I took it to a welding shop and they patched the hole and moved it to the other side

That would have been the right way had it been a Mazda, Hyundai, or Kia....
