My LS-T Build
Hey all, I'm building an LS turbo setup. My Plans so far are:
-PR4 head w/ stock cams and valves.
-OEM valve springs
-CRV block with stock pistons
-Eagle Rods w/ ARP fasteners
...and that's all I have so far.
I want to make 300whp. Can someone recommend me a turbo that could help me achieve this goal all while giving me a very streetable car that can be dd'd?
The car it's going into:

i dont think you need those valvesprings especially with a stock cam. different cams and an intake manifold will really be needed to keep the tq from falling off substantially above 5500-6000 allowing you to continue making power and necessitate revving above 7200-7400.
also im not sure why you would use aftermarket rods on a stock piston. if the block is together and healthy just use it as is. if its apart and you are going to use aftermarket rods at least use the vitara knockoffs in 84 or 84.5mm or whoever makes them maybe rs machines i forgot. oe pistons will break before the rods will

Golden eagle doesn't make rods... and you'll have to modify the ros for press fit pins... making it unusable for slide fit pins
And the stock pistons are still the weak link, anything over 300 and you'll break a ring land

I meant eagle rods, my bad. Edited first post. And thanks, I'll be looking to upgrade the pistons.

Yea there's no point in doing all that bottom end work to have it all potentially be scrap because you ran stock pistons. Plus that means you'd have to pull the motor out again lol
